Beschrijving

Hoge kwaliteit solid state hoofd schakelaar volgens FIA veiligheids-specificaties. Schakelt motor/ecu uit en sluit de accu geheel af van chassis.
De Cartek schakelt de 12 volt voeding naar de PDM (of ECU) af en sluit de accu naar massa/chassis af met 0.5s vertraging. Ideaal voor de AIM PDM8/PDM32, maar kan ook i.c.m. conventionele ecu of ontsteking gebruikt worden.

Alle Cartek Battery Isolators zijn ontworpen om twee functies uit te voeren in overeenstemming met de FIA Motorsport-veiligheidsvoorschriften. Deze zijn:
1. Zet de motor stil – ‘Kill’.
2. Koppel de accu los van ALLE elektrische systemen – ‘Isolate’.

Belangrijkste bij gebruik van de Cartek switches is een schone en kale massaverbinding naar het chassis. Vermijd corrossie! Gebruik geen blindklinkmoeren, maar gewoon direct op chassis massa mbv bouten of liever nog gelaste draadeinden.
Let ook op met externe startaccu’s/klemmen, deze dienen direct op de accupolen aangesloten te worden! RTFM

Following on from the highly successful Battery Isolator GT, CARTEK have now produced 2 new versions. These new versions have been designed to be more cost effective than their predecessors whilst at the same time with improved performance and diagnostic features.

Cartek X-Club:
Designed to be a ‘cost effective’ version of our Battery Isolators. This device is suitable for cars of medium tune/performance and engines up to 3.0L V6, turbo or NA. Ideal for one-make championships with stock based engines, e.g. Mazda MX-5, Honda Civic Type R, Renault Clio, Ford Focus ST, VW Golf GTI, BMW 1,2,3 series, Formula Ford, bike-engined formula cars….

Not suitable for V8 engines nor Electric or Hybrid vehicles.
Engine Kill signal is a fully protected 10A power output for connection to ignition coils, engine relay or ECU/PDM input. Improved performance and diagnostic features than previous generation GT and XR.

Cartek X-Pro:
The new X-PRO Battery Isolator is designed to handle the high cranking currents of large capacity and high performance race engines and is designed for all race and rally car applications.
Engine Kill signal is a configurable protected power output (5A/10A/15A/20A) for connection to ignition coils, engine relay or ECU/PDM input. Signal connections via sealed Deutsch DT connector.
